The halters give you control of your dogs head, because if you can control a dogs head you will have control of its body too. All large and strong dogs are always controlled from their head and these halters work on the same design - a design which has been used for hundreds of years! As these halters tighten at the back of the head, rather than around the nose as with other head collars, the rope doesn't ride up into the eyes making it more comfortable.
