Inspired by the Caribbean influence in New Orleans Cuisine, Roasted Garlic Adobo combines the bold flavor of fire-roasted bell peppers, savory onions and roasted garlic along with brown rice and black beans.Since the early 1800's New Orleans Garden District has been a historical melting pot filled with ornate homes and lush gardens. Garden District Kitchen is a nod to this neighborhood, near where Emile Zatarain founded the company in a small storefront over a century ago.*Except those naturally occurring glutamates.

Suggested Use

Stove Top DirectionsCook - Mix 1 1/2 cups water and 1 tbsp. butter in 2-quart saucepan. Bring to boil. Add rice mix. Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. For softer rice, simmer an additional 2 to 3 minutes.Enjoy - Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.Zatarain's Kitchen Tips And Tricks Create your own signature "power bowl". Prepare rice as directed. Choose your favorite colorful toppings, such as red onion, corn, avocado, sprouts, baby spinach leaves and chopped tomatoes.No Rules! Be Creative Enjoy!
