INGREDIENTS Genmaicha Tea

Infuse 1 teaspoon of tea in 200ml of water at 75 ° C. Along with other Japanese green teas, it is a rich source of catechins and antioxidants. Its leaves contain well-absorbed vitamin C, beta carotene, folic acid, potassium, calcium and phosphorus. The Japanese consider genmaicha as a type of Japanese green tea and not an ordinary blend, perhaps because they have been enjoying it for quite a long time. This blend balances the astringency of green tea with the nutty flavour of the roasted rice. Genmaicha (brown rice tea) is genmaicha essentially a mix of green tea and roasted rice.
