Taiwan produces many world-famous oolong teas. The reason why each oolong tea has a different name is because they are named after the place of origin, which also represents the height at which the oolong tea grows. Each oolong tea comes from a different altitude. The higher the altitude, the more difficult it is to plant, because the tea grows slowly due to the climate, and the tea leaves are more difficult to harvest, making the alpine oolong tea more precious, and the unique alpine climate here is also the key to the production of the world-famous oolong tea in Taiwan.
Tieguanyin, Dayuling, Green Oolong, Black Oolong, Dongding Oolong and Alishan Oolong are all representative Oolong teas in Taiwan.
