White Pearl 1121 Extra Long Basmati Rice has been matured for over 12 months. It is a special variety of Basmati Rice called 1121. This variety is known for its extra long grains when cooked. INGREDIENTS Basmati rice DIRECTIONS Measure the desired quantity of rice, 250g of rice provides 4 generous portions. Before cooking, rinse rice thoroughly in a sieve under running water and for best results soak rice for approximately 30mins. 1. Bring a large pan of water with four times as much water as rice to the boil, if desired add a pinch of salt and few drops of cooking oil. 2. Add the rice, stir and bring back to the boil or 2 mins. 3. Reduce to simmer for approximately 8 mins or until rice is tender. 4. Drain water, cover and leave to stand for a few minutes, then lightly fork through rice and serve.
