To capture the essence of Bulgaria and memories of the Rose Festivals, warm summer afternoons, mountains and sunshine we tried a simple method. It might sound strange, but the essence of aromatherapy is linked to memory. So, with a blindfold, we provided varieties of rose oils for our Bulgarian staff to test and asked "which of these remind you of hearth, home, family, laughter, rose petals beneath your feet and the joy of the festival?"

We blended them together to create our version of the Bulgarian Rose. To honor all Bulgarian Grandmothers who raised their families in a loving home. We named it Tzveta. Tzveta - the true story

Create from our memories of Bulgaria and the International Rose Festival. To honor all Bulgarian Grandmothers. We named it Tzveta, a traditional female name which means 'flower.'

Zero animal testing, Non GMO, no parabens

Close your eyes and inhale the intoxicating and alluring aroma of open valleys plump with rose buds in the early summer dew. Rich, moisturizing body butter infused with dried rose hip powder for our natural Vitamin C and soft pink hue. We have created an intensive, rich, all-over body butter filled with the essence of rose valleys. Enhanced with tucuma and murumuru butter. Nourishes and regenerates dry, damaged skin. Absorbs quickly, easy to spread and leaves no sticky feeling.

New packaging and smaller carbon footprint

Our new exterior box package design is a bit different. It's hexagonal. This creates an egg carton style design that cradles each jar inside. Plus, the smaller box design uses 20% less cardboard. This makes less landfill waste, too. We are also switching over to compost hungry adhesive tabs. Watch for these on our boxes.

The world's finest rose oil is from Bulgaria.

It requires more than 10,000 pounds of rose petals to distill just one pound of rose oil. The petals must be hand picked early in the morning on a select few days of June when the temperature and humidity are just perfect.

The rose petals are carefully boiled in huge vats and the essential oils are steam distilled.

Despite these obstacles it’s still highly coveted and a much loved oil, both for its aroma and its benefits. Its true aroma is rich, floral, sensual and so heavenly.
