Both a Flash and Transmitter

With its integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver, you can use the FJ80-SE on-camera as both a flash and transmitter. Control FJ400 and FJ200 strobes, FJ-XR receivers, and off-camera FJ80 speedlights devices directly from the hot shoe. When mounted off-camera, the FJ80-SE acts as a client speedlight. Trigger via an on-camera mounted FJ80, FJ-X3, or FJ-X2 Wireless Triggers.

Continuous Capture up to 20 FPS, TTL to Manual Equivalent (as Client), modeling lamp settings, and more. Articulating Portable Flash with Multiple Mounting Options

You can tilt and rotatethe speedlight for complete flexibility. This portable flash head provides 360° horizontal and 90° vertical pivot ranges. Mount the FJ80 off-camera via the cold shoe or use the included shoe stand to make it free-standing. The shoe stand is equipped with a 1/4”-20 female thread for mounting to most light stands with no additional hardware required. Pair with a FJ80 Speedlight Insert (#2544) for use with the Rapid Box Switch line of portable softboxes.

FJ80-SE S Camera Compatibility

The FJ80-SE S speedlight is compatible with most Sony cameras that have a hot shoe mount for manual mode operation.
