West Coast Wild food is the result of a lifetime spent in the mountains and forest of British Columbia, exploring and learning about the wonderful wild mushrooms and other wild foods that our beautiful province has to offer.

From our roots

From our roots as wild mushroom harvesters beginning as teeners to our foundation in the wild mushroom industry working in the field as buying agents, we have grown into the premier wild foods company in Canada. In the beginning, we concentrated specifically on morel mushrooms, and we travelled the West Coast of Canada year after year searching for them. From Yukon Territories to Southern BC we harvested, bought, dried and processed our own morels for a growing group of customers both locally and overseas.
