How to use the Wahl Root Straightening Hot Comb

1. For best results, start with clean, dry hair.

2. Set the digital temperature control to the desired temperature.

3. Starting at the nape of the neck, separate hair into 1 inch sections.

4. Start at the root of each section and place the teeth of the comb close to the scalp and grip the hair.

5. Slowly glide the tool through each section and continue working your way up the head in sections.

For a completely smooth and sleek look, use the Root Straightening Hot Comb on the roots of your hair and then use a straightener or hot comb on the bulk of your hair.

Ideal for straightening coarse, curly, frizzy and afro Caribbean hair types as well as wigs. With a ceramic coated barrel which locks in moisture and delivers a smooth and shiny finish. The fine-tooth comb protects the scalp and allows the heated barrel to get close to the roots without the risk of burning your skin. The Root Straightening Hot Comb has variable heat settings from 100 c - 220 c, which allows you to select the best temperature for your hair texture and thickness, ideal for afro and textured hair types. The four heat settings appear on an LCD screen, so you can choose from fine (100 c), normal (160 c), thick (190 c) and coarse (220 c). The hot comb has a quick heat up time of just 60 seconds so you won't need to wait long to begin styling your hair. The tool has a power indicator which will light up when it has reached the selected temperature.
