The VT2000 supports up to three external displays, allows for file and data transfer up to 5Gbps speeds, and up to 85W USB-C Power Passthrough from user supplied power supply. With its multi-display support, SD card reader, and USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, the VT2000 successfully bridges the gap from previous USB standards to newer USB protocols by providing 4K video support and multiple generations of USB port connectivity.

USB-C DP Alt Mode

DP Alt Mode is an optional capability of USB-C that enable it to transfer video signals over dedicated lanes. Previously, connecting to external monitors required the use of HDMI or DisplayPort adapters. Utilizing the video capabilities of your host device DP Alt mode allows for extension of additional displays using the USB-C connection to the docking station without any adapters.

Hardware Requirements: USB-C Port with DP Alt Mode | USB-C Power Delivery Support | Up to 100W USB-C Power Supply for charging

Note: Host System must support DP 1.3 HBR3 for 2 displays @ 4K 30Hz, Host System must support DP 1.3 and have onboard graphics that supports MST for 3 external displays at 1080p
