The DocuMate 4790 has rollers that pull the paper through. After a certain amount of usage, these rollers start to wear. This is when a Roller exchange kit should be purchased. Signs that it might be time to replace the rollers are multi-feeding or if your scan count is around 350, 000 pages, it is time to change the rollers.
