THE VFUEL STORY

During the 2008 Leadville Trail 100 race I choked down 58 packets of a popular energy gel over 29 hours and suffered greatly. I knew there had to be a better way to fuel my body, and started a personal quest to create it. Over the next few years, through extensive research, testing, and field use with the help of the Front Range running community, we developed our own endurance fuels that do more than just give a quick spot of energy while tearing up your guts and wearing out your taste buds. We fine-tuned the ingredients for optimal performance based both on the science behind each ingredient and actual field testing while training and running some of the toughest mountain races like the Leadville Trail 100 and the Hardrock Hundred Endurance Run. The result: endurance fuels that not only taste fantastic, but also go down easy without causing digestive issues and perform better than any 'energy' product out there.
