It features a hard aluminum case and tray that effectively draws the heat away while an active-controlled 60mm fan pushes cool air through the enclosure ensuring your hard drive is cooled while in use. This NexStar HX comes with smart and green features to extend the life of the hard drive by spinning down when the system goes to sleep thus saving energy when it is not in use. With the latest UASP protocol and SATA III 6Gbps support, transferring and backing up files are faster.
