INGREDIENTS

-250 ml coconut milk

-35 g Van Houten Ground White Chocolate

-Coffee-flavored ice cubes

PREPARATION

Step 1 Mix the Van Houten Ground White Chocolate with milk and steam.

Step 2 Pour the ice cubes into a glass.

INGREDIENTS

-25 g Van Houten Ground Dark Chocolate, 35 g Van Houten Ground White Chocolate, 140 ml oat milk*

PREPARATION

Step 1 Melt the Van Houten Ground Dark Chocolate with hot water to create an espresso shot.

Step 2 Pour into a glass.

Step 3 Mix the milk with the Van Houten Ground White Chocolate. Steam.

Step 4 Pour onto the dark chocolate mix.

Step 3 Pour the matcha mix in a glass and add the white chocolate mix.

Finest Cocoa Powders - a Bean-to-Cup Story of Over 190 year

The history of Van Houten began in 1815 when Casparus Van Houten opened a chocolate factory in Amsterdam. Cacao beans were ground into a fine mass which would then be mixed either with milk to create a chocolate drink or with sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla to make cookies.

Then in 1828, Casparus invented the hydraulic cocoa press, separating the cocoa butter from the liquor in order to create a lighter and more nutritious cocoa powder. Inheriting his father's passion for cocoa, his son Coenraadsubsequently invented the renowned Dutching process of alkalizing cocoa to improve both taste and solubility and set the standard for the cocoa-based drinks we know and love today.
