Hand Picked On the Vallesur estate, the harvest season usually runs from February to June. During this period, the olive berries are harvested entirely by hand. This reduces damage to the olives, and the trees, and ensures that the olives are always of high quality.	Fair Trade The producers of Vallesur officially received Fair Trade certification from the Peruvian government in 2023.	Shine the spotlight on them, as they rightfully deserve. Previously, Vallesur olive oil was exported to Mediterranean countries where it was blended or rebranded, often obscuring its Peruvian origin and sold under the guise of local brands. Hearing the producers' desire to showcase the excellence of Peruvian olive oil, we took pride in launching the Vallesur brand in the UK, celebrating its Peruvian heritage and exceptional quality.
