2. If your laptop has only a single USB-C port, you only can realize SST(Mirror) mode(A-B-B) unless there is another HDMI port on your laptop

Plug a single USB-C cord(provided) to single USB-C port(HOST2) to achieve mirror displays.
Plug a single USB-C cord(provided) to single USB-C port(HOST2) + HDMI(Monitor) to HDMI(Laptop) to achieve extended displays.

Reminder:

1. Please connect the power adapter to the USB C PD(Power Delivery) charging port of the laptop docking station or connect the original laptop power adapter to the charging port on your laptop directly before use. Note: Power adapter is NOT included.

2. HOST1 system only drives the HDMI1 display, other ports except HDMI1 are from the HOST2 system(i.e.:USB ports, PD ports and audio ports, etc).

3. For some Windows laptops which are only equipped with one USB C port, please connect to HOST2 to get peripheral devices working via USB C cord. For HOST2, if your windows laptop is equipped with Intel Graphics Card, one of 3 monitors will be no display signal. Only three screens will be displayed including the laptop’s screen. For Mac OS, please connect the HOST1 and HOST2 ports via the dual USB C cable.

4. When enabling 4k resolution on the HDMI1 port, all other display resolutions will be limited to 1920*1080@60Hz once you connect the VGA port. DP1.2 has bandwidth issues, which may cause the resolution of a certain monitor to be reduced to below 1920*1080.

5. Due to the process of EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) communication protocol, your displays may blackout and back on upon plugging into the docking station. This is normal behavior and the displays will recover within a few seconds, but the speed depends on the source device and monitor (1 minute at max).

6. The newest Macbook and iMac with M1 chip unfortunately doesn't support MST(Extend Mode).

7. Please connect wireless devices such as wireless mouse and wireless keyboard to the USB 2.0 ports on the docking station.

Tips

Host2 is a full-featured port.
For the Windows laptop, please attach the USB C cable to HOST2(FF) to use.
For the Mac OS laptop, please attach the dual USB C cable to HOST1 & HOST2 to use.
The charger is NOT included. Please attach your laptop power supply to the PD port for a stable usage.
Compatible for both Mac OS and Windows laptops(Please ensure the USB C port of your laptop supports USB C Alt-mode Display Output ).
To ensure stable performance of the docking, we suggest using a 60W PD charger or above for a better experience.
