Important Notes
1. If you have inserted a new NVMe card into the device, it may need to be initialized before it can be used. You can do this by opening the Disk Management utility in Windows and following the instructions to initialize the disk.
2. If the NVMe card was previously used and worked properly, you may need to press and hold the button on the device for a longer period, around 7-8 seconds, to enable the card. Additionally, the NVMe card may not show up as a separate drive letter in Windows and instead may appear in the list of disks in the Disk Management utility.
3. If the NVMe card is not recognized at all, it is possible that the issue could be related to the lack of partitioning on the new drive. Please check if the NVMe card has been partitioned before using it in the enclosure.
4. To use the device, press the button on the device for about 1 second to turn it on and for 5 seconds to turn it off. The white light indicates that the device is working, while the blue light indicates that the device is in the off state.
5. Regarding the Steam Deck, please note that it requires sufficient power to operate and may not recognize the hub if it is not properly powered. Additionally, the hub is designed to work with Windows systems only, and may not be compatible with other operating systems.
6. The blue heat sink/pad included in the package, it is designed to help dissipate heat from the SSD and keep it cool during operation. You can attach the heat sink/pad directly onto the surface of the SSD to provide better thermal conductivity and prevent overheating.
