Suggested Usage:
-Prep your eyelids.
-Start by applying an eyeshadow primer, like Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion (sold separately), to create a smooth base for the eyeshadows. This will help the colors to adhere better and last longer.
-Make sure to prime from your lash line to brow bone and inner corner to the outer corners for maximum coverage.
-Select three shades that complement each other. Typically, you will want to choose your lightest shade for highlighting, a medium shade to define the crease of the eye, and a darker shade for the outer corner and or to create depth. Select the shades that you want to use based on the look you want to achieve.
-With a flat eyeshadow brush, apply your lightest shade to the eyelid starting at the inner corner and blending it towards the center. This will help brighten and open your eyes.
-Take a fluffy blending brush and apply the medium shade to the crease. Start at the outer corner of the crease and use a back-and-forth windshield wiper motion to blend the color evenly throughout the crease. This will create a seamless transition of color and add dimension to the eyes.
-Apply your darkest shade: If you want to add more depth to your eye look, use a smaller fluffy brush to apply the darkest of the three shades to the outer corner of your eyelid and blend it slightly up towards the crease. Blending this shade up towards the crease will help create a seamless transition of color and add depth and definition to the eyes.
-You can also use any of the matte medium to deep shades and smudge them along the lower lash line for added intensity.
-Blend and soften: Take a clean blending brush and gently blend the eyeshadow colors together to ensure a seamless transition between the shades. This will help to create a well-blended eye look.
-Highlight the brow bone and inner corners: Use a light shimmery or matte shade from the palette that is slightly lighter than your skin tone to highlight the brow bone and or inner corner.
-Apply just under the arch of the eyebrow to lift and accentuate the eyes.
-Apply to the inner corner of the eyes to make them look more awake or refreshed.
-Pro-tip: Apply it with a small brush or your fingertip to add brightness and make your eyes pop.
-Pro-tip: Wet your brush with Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray (sold separately) for maximum payoff.
