Sushi rice, called "Shari" ( ) in Japanese, is essential for a success of your dishes.

Our rice is grown in Italy, when it is ready it is harvested, packaged and sold, without long transport and storage times that make the product lose quality.

Umami Rice for Sushi

Follow our recipe for excellent quality rice

TIPS FOR USE: wash the rice 5 or 6 times in plenty of water. Put the rice in a pot together with 120% water (120 ml of water for every 100gr of rice) cover with the lid and bring to a boil. Arrived at a boil, always with the lid, bring the heat to a minimum and cook for 13 minutes. After that, turn off the heat and place it out of the heat source and let it sit for 10 minutes (with the lid inserted). After 10 minutes, it can be seasoned with rice vinegar prepared for sushi (sushisu).
