Mirin (? ? ?, ? ?) or sweet rice wine is a sweet, syrupy liquid used as a seasoning and icing agent. Just like soy sauce, it is one of the most important condiments in Japanese cuisine.

Umami Mirin FU

To give a touch of sweetness and depth

Our Mirin FU contains less than 0.5% alcohol. Typically, the Mirin must be boiled during cooking to evaporate from the alcohol. With this, there's no need to do that, which means you can get the same great flavor with less effort and a smaller amount.

Similar to sake, mirin is also a type of rice wine. This sweet rice wine is used in virtually everything from teriyaki salmon to soups to bowls of donburi rice.
