How to Apply

Use a tape gun or cut to length with a scissor or utility knife. Press the tape against the mass loaded vinyl material firmly to provide a good bond. Follow safety guidelines and local building codes.

Install Noise Barriers with Ease

Seal Mass Loaded Vinyl Noise Barriers

High-strength tape used to seal the joints of UberQuiet MLV or other mass loaded vinyl materials.

Bright color provides great contrast to black MLV material, wooden studs, and other materials to highlight untreated areas.

Compatible with UberQuiet MLV Cap Nails and UberQuiet MLV mass loaded vinyl noise barriers.

Where to Apply

After the installation of mass loaded vinyl sheets on wall or ceiling, seal all butt joints, openings, cuts, and perimeter with UberQuiet MLV Tape. Ensure that all gaps and openings are properly sealed with the tape. For larger openings, we recommend filling the opening with cut-to-size pieces of MLV before applying the tape.

Important: Install at room temperature (60-80 F)

Cold room temperature or cold materials may result in the MLV Tape not sticking to the MLV.

For a successful project, please ensure that the space is at "room temperature" (60-80 F) and that the materials have been stored at room temperature for at least 24 hours prior to installation.
