The Twist-and-Fold rain hat has a 15 inch diameter brim. The fabric is water resistant nylon with PVC backing to prevent leaks at the seams. The hat brim extends wide enough to keep the face dry in light drizzles provided there is no side wind. When not needed, the twist-and-fold rain hat may be folded into a convenient 6 inch disk with a twist of the hands and stored in matching pouch. This makes it simple and safe to carry around compared to bulky or pointy umbrellas. The rain hat is especially useful when you need to work with both hands, but also need some head shelter. Since the hat is so small you can leave one in your car as a backup in case you forgot your umbrella at home. You can also carry it in your pocket or purse when traveling without worrying about crushing the hat.
