At Twinings, we recognise our responsibility to source ethically and our ability to act as a force for good by improving conditions in our supply chain. Our Sourced with Care programme aims to do just that.

Everyone has the right to a decent quality of life and we work to make this a reality in the communities from which we source our materials. Our programmes empower women, enable better access to water and sanitation, and improve livelihoods in the communities in our supply chain.

Binita's Story

In Assam, Twinings works with NGO partners to establish Adolescent Girls Groups. Binita is an active member of her local Adolescent Girls Group, where she meets her friends and they discuss important topics such as menstrual hygiene, nutrition and early marriage. Through the Adolescent Girls Group, the girls play a key role in the community by empowering others.
