Note: If your car does not have a USB port, we recommend using a 5V car adapter from a reputable brand to avoid damaging both your phone and Firefly LDAC.
Most Bluetooth receivers only support the default low quality SBC codec, which is less than ideal for music streaming. The Firefly LDAC is one of the few receivers on the market that supports Sony LDAC technology that allows streaming high-resolution audio over Bluetooth connections at up to 990 kbps at 32 bit/96 kHz (vs Qualcomm’s aptX at 352 kbps and aptX HD at 576 kbps).
