The N846-10M-24-P is a laser-optimized, OM3-rated 50/125 Multimode cable for 100Gb Ethernet applications and can support speeds up to 100GbE. It also supports 40GBASE-SR4 and 100GBASE-SR10 in applicable parallel optics networks. The N846-10M-24-P meets the most current industry standards, including IEEE 802.3ae and TIA LOMMF. For quality control and traceability, this cable features a serial number on the jacket.

The MTP/MPO connectors are almost identical in size to SC connectors, but can accommodate 24 times as many fibers, freeing up circuit card and rack space for other cables. The N846-10M-24-P has documented insertion loss and back reflection testing on every connector and attenuation loss that meets or exceeds current standards. Each connector has a pull tab to improve accessibility in high-density data center applications. The pull tabs make it easy to install and remove cables with one hand without the need for additional tools.
