It’s perfect for connecting your home or office computer to printers or other peripherals that are up to 164 feet away and don’t have network connectivity or are located in an area where the network is unavailable. The B203-104-PNP comes with both the transmitter (local) and receiver (remote) units and sends signals over user-supplied Cat5e/6 cable, such as Tripp Lite’s N202-series.

With the use of Cat5/6 cabling, a computer and its USB peripherals can be located up to 164 ft. away from each other. And, with transfer rates up to 480 Mbps, performance never suffers. The B203-104-PNP is backward compatible with USB 1.1 technology. For maximum signal strength, use Cat6 solid-conductor UTP cable, such as Tripp Lite’s N202-series. Before using with a touchscreen monitor, confirm that your monitor supports USB 2.0 over Cat5/6 extenders.

With a built-in USB cable, the transmitter unit offers easy connection to your computer for true plug-and-play functionality without drivers or software. The remote unit comes with an external power supply that provides 2 amps of power, allowing you to access and power up to four USB peripherals. The B203-104-PNP is compatible with all major operating systems.
