Well, thanks to a palatable new pepper offering, weve decided to reword it. Trader Joes picked a peck of Hot & Sweet Jalapeos... Sounds rather catchy, we think. The developers of our Hot & Sweet Jalapeos originally came upon a jar of candied jalapeos in Kansas City, Missouri. The concept piqued their interest but the peppers were just a little too sweet. So, for this product they concocted the perfect balance of sweetness to complementbut not overpowerthe heat of the jalapeos. And, yes, these are spicy theyll certainly pack the punch youd expect from the small but mighty jalapeo. Grown in Mexico and Canada, the sliced jalapeos are pickled in a concoction of sugar, vinegar, salt, jalapeo puree, garlic, and a whole red chili pepper. The final result A palatable, perfectly pickledand sweetpepper. Perplexed about how to put our Hot & Sweet Jalapeos to use Pop em in your mouth like candy.
