Our Tough Shield Silver Liquid Bandage containsonly four ingredients- purified water, Vitamin E and our own proprietary blend of silver hydrosol and polyacrylate polymer. It contains nothing that will cause a stinging sensation when applied, or anytoxins, harsh additives or preservatives. If your pet licks the bandage after it's been applied, it will do no harm. Our purified water baseprovides hydrationwhile the wound heals, and Vitamin E gives addedsoothing protection to sore, inflamed or dry skin.

Easy to use spray provides peace of mind for pet owners

For effective first aid using ourpet wound care spray, simply shake well and spray onto the affected area from a distance of 4 to 5 inches for even coverage. There'sno need for additional cleansing or secondary bandages. Within minutes, an invisible waterproof barrier will protect the area, allowing the wound to heal quickly.

If you need to apply another layer, allow time for the first layer to dry. As only a thin layer is required, runoff is normal and does not mean that it hasn't adhered to the skin. The closer you spray the product on the skin, the more concentrated the spray, which can lead to more runoff. Runoff can be wiped away with a clean tissue. You may apply Tough Shield up to three times a day. Once dried, it mimics the natural barrier properties of the skin to prevent dirt from entering wounds, bending and stretching with your pet's movements.
