HISTORY AND TRADITION

Peppermint is a tall vigorous mint up to 3 feet tall with tough square stems and highly aromatic dark green leaves with serrated edges. It produces tall spikes of purplish flowers in high summer.

It comes from a hybrid of mint plants and has a very strong aroma, making it ideal for use in aromatherapy and fragrance, and its medicinal properties have been documented for many years.
