How we started

We started our range of BBQ seasonings during lockdown and with the sole purpose of using amazing ingredients in our seasonings that were not simply Sugar and Salt as is found in most brands.
We love every one of our seasonings and have won awards consecutively for 3 years which has granted us the use of the "Great Taste Producer" Status.

Why Coconut Sugar / Date Palm

Most brands of seasonings sell you up to 45% sugar and this comes mainly as raw cane sugar.
Used on the open flame and over a low and slow the sugars have a tendency to burn easily and turn black, which is often mistaken for a good bark. Using coconut palm which has a naturally low moisture content works much better in a BBQ / Open flame scenario.

Too much salt!

Many brands will not only load up the seasonings with up to 45% Sugar but also up to 30% Salt.This results in only a small amount of your seasonings being able to showcase amazing flavour profiles
We use only a maximum of 10% Salt in our seasonings and when we do, it is one of our amazing smoked salts.

Three Chilli Sweet - Great Taste 2021

A pungent, aromatic spice mix with quite a hefty dose of the molasses. The balance of the spices is extremely harmonious, possibly a touch short on salt, with the deep, fruity notes of the chillis carried by the sweetness of the sugar and garlic bringing more depth. The chilli continues to develop in complexity as it lingers in the mouth, offering warmth, fruit and smoky notes, but never become overly aggressive. A really flavoursome rub.
This rub displays lots of different deep red and orange hues, shapes and textures. It's intriguing to look at. When tasted on its own there is a lovely level of heat and smoke with underlying bitter notes and sweetness. When put on steak, the flavours shine and complement the intensity of the flavour you get from meat. This is a complex and well made product. We felt that we could find a lot of uses for it.
