How is the Thinkbaby straw bottle different We built the Thinkbaby straw bottle with soft silicone straw. This makes it perfect for the advancement to the next stage in feeding. The straw features a cross cut design so they do not spill when held upside down, which obviously happens…quite often. The top of the bottle features a easy to close cover to keep it from coming into contact with foreign substances.	Thinkster Replacement Straws We highly recommend purchasing a box of Thinkster replacement straws at time of purchase. Silicone straws last between 2-3 months depending on use. It is important to take feeding products away from little ones after they have finished eating, so that they are not confused with chew toys. Replace straws if they become worn or broken. We recommend using the Thinkster with our Made-from-Limestone Neoprene Sleeve, available for purchase now.	How do I convert the Thinkbaby Thinkster into other bottles Converting the baby bottle into The Sippy: Remove the baby bottle nipple and replace with the Sippy Cup spout. Then place the Sippy Cup handles around the top of the baby bottle and push down over the neck of the bottle. Tighten the collar with spout around the neck of the bottle and…presto! You have our Sippy Cup!!! Converting The Sippy Cup into The Thinkster: Take collar off of baby bottle (along with spout) and screw on the Thinkster top. Ta-da! The Thinkster! And congrats-- you not only saved the landfills, but you also saved yourself money by lengthening the useful life of your bottle.

Tips For Cleaning

Thinksters are dishwasher safe (Top Rack recommended). The markings are embossed into the metal so they will not come off. The logo is laser etched into the material. We do not use lead in our paint, which is what predominately makes paint stick. The US and EU standards actually allow for low levels of lead. We specifically do not want lead in our products. When washing thinkster in the dishwasher, we recommend using a detergent that is free of chlorine. Most of the natural detergents on the market from Eco Lever to Seventh Generation should be free of toxic chemicals. If hand-washing, the American Pediatrics Association suggests using warm soapy water, but only if you live in an area with treated water systems.

As little ones systems are still in a state of development they have very little defense against foreign chemicals.
