The London Honey Company Ling Heather honey is one of our flagships products. Traditionally our ling honey comes from the Shropshire Hills, the Long Mynd and the distinctive Stiperstones. Over time we have also selected new apiary locations across the country and work with trusted beekeepers in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Exmoor and Scotland. We are very much production oriented with many of the sites our own. The honey we produce on the heather moors is strong and powerful in flavour, extremely aromatic and not too sweet. Rich and jelly like in texture this is a real treat for the honey connoisseur in search for the most authentic of British honeys. We have matched our Ling Heather honey to our Shropshire set honey, our favourite of the creamed honeys. We gently churn the honey to trigger crystallisation which creates a soft set and creamy texture, making it ideal spread over warm toast as well as enjoyed over yoghurt or simply by the spoonful.
