HOW SHOULD I PLACE ELECTRODE PADS

Before you apply the tens pads to your skin, make sure the TENS unit is turned off.
Place the pads 2.5cm (1 inch) apart on either side of the sore region.
Avoid placing self-adhesive electrotherapy patches on sensitive skin, open sores, varicose veins, numb areas, or your chest and upper back at the same time.
Avoid putting the pads directly on your joints since this will affect how well they cling to your skin and reduce the treatment's efficiency. Place the replacement pads below and above the troublesome joint.

If your reusable TENS unit pads are no longer sticky, there are a few things you can do to keep them in good condition.

(1) Use the tens pads on dry, flat areas with no perspiration or oil. If you don't, the pads won't stick.

(2) If you wash TENS unit relacement pads under the tap, please let them dry naturally.

(3) Make sure your skin is free from any dirt, oil or lotion before you place the stim design pads.

(4) Make sure to apply both latex-free self-adhesive electrotherapy patches to your skin; if you only use one pad, it won't perform efficiently.

An electrode's lifespan might vary depending on skin condition, frequency of cleaning, and storage.

You may need to replace the electrodes if:
