Da Hong Pao, also known as the “Big Red Robe” tea and is one of the most expensive teas in the world. It is often reserved only for welcoming the most elite guests. Da Hong Pao is also classified as one of the “Famous Chinese Teas” as well as a “Four Great Bushes Tea.” Our tea leaves are cultivated in their birthplace-- the Wuyi Mountains of China. Hints of peach compote and dark molasses carry through upon your palate with each steep producing a slightly different evolution of flavor.
