Please holding the ball in your hand, make sure the open part of the gyroscope faces towards you. Gently spin the inner part of the gyroscope until you see arrows that indicate the direction to spin. With your arm extended and the exposed part facing toward the hard surface, take the gyroscope and quickly run the inner part of the gyroscope on the surface and have it spin in the direction that the arrows indicate. Faster motions to initiate the spin tends to yield better results. Think of striking a match as you initiate the spin. A quick flick helps the ball gain enough momentum to allow you to take control and get it going faster. As always, be sure to do so safely. If done properly the ball will begin spinning.
