How did we get our start

Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at age 13, Founder, Carolyn Jäger, identified a need for something more attractive than "the black medical bag" that comes with every glucometer. In 2009, after years with no other options in the marketplace, Carolyn started designing cases from her basement with her two sons underfoot. A year later, she launched Sugar Medical and introduced her first supply case.

Protective gel skin case compatible with Libre and Libre II. Our gel skin covers are made of soft silicone which gives you a better grip on the notoriously slippery Libre Reader. Has cut-outs for USB charging and test strips. Cut out on back for use with our Velcro patches found in our Sugar Medical Diabetes Supply Cases, or to apply your own clip. Case stays on Reader to scan the glucose sensor and to charge. No need to ever remove the case! A raised, beveled edge helps protect screen against scratches and damage from drops.
