Our own regional chutney - Winner of the Outstanding Savory Condiment Award

Stonewall Kitchen Old Farmhouse Chutney, 8.5 Ounces

A famous Indian mainstay, chutney is an exotic, fruity, relish-like condiment that can be made with almost anything.

In the tradition of our own local harvest, we created this now-classic recipe. The combination of apples, cranberries, peaches, apricots and raisins are mixed with a variety of spices for an explosion of flavor. The sweet, tart and zesty notes of this chutney will surely exceed your expectations as a delicious spread or as a uniquely scrumptious ingredient.

Surprise your guests with a savory bread pudding, or puff pastry baked with chutney and brie. It goes great on shrimp, on pork and gives chicken salad a whole new personality. Not to mention it makes the best homemade turkey burgers ever!

Our favorite way to use it is in our classic Old Farmhouse Chutney Cheese Ball. A tip from our kitchen – instead of one large cheese ball for large gatherings, try individual cheese balls with pretzel sticks. This chutney can be used in many delicious ways with meats, fish, curried dishes or mixed into rice or couscous. Try it with cheeses or as a sandwich spread.

The Stonewall Kitchen Story

Founded in 1991 by partners Jonathan King and Jim Stott, the two established themselves selling jams and jellies at local farmers’ markets, fairs and festivals with their flavorful line of distinctive and high quality food items. Over time, they expanded their product line to include sauces, condiments, mustards and baking mixes. Today, products are sold in more than 6,000 wholesale accounts nationwide and internationally and through the company's 10 retail company stores and catalog and web divisions.
