Organic white downy tea is hand picked tea and hand processed using orthodox tea methods to give very long twisted leaves many with silver tips and a beautiful white downy coating to the leaves. On cupping, White Downy Tea has a light yellow colour and has a fresh, sweet taste of newly cut herbs. A really beautiful tea for the afternoon or evening, but make sure your palate is clean, so you can savour the delicate beauty of its flavour profile. Tea brewing: Into a warmed teapot, put in 1 teaspoon of White Downy Tea per cup. Bring fresh water to boil & pour over White Downy Tea. Steep for 3 – 5 minutes. Do not add milk and ideally no sugar.
