The famous giraffe was born on May 25 1961...Day of the Holy Sophia! It is handcrafted in Rumilly, France, with its 14 manual operations.

About Us

At that time the animal toys were exclusively figures of pets or families from the farm world.

That's why, one day in France, a certain Mr Rampeau who specialises in converting the latex of the HEVEA tree by the concept of rotomolding rubber to make toys, had the idea of designing a giraffe, whose size and shape would be ideal for the baby's grip.
