Everything You Need to Connect Is Included

Simply connect the Twin25G adapter to your computer via the included 40Gbps Thunderbolt cable. Install a Driver for macOS and Windows directly from Sonnet Tech. Install the included SFP28 modules, connect the adapter to the network switch or directly to 25GbE-enabled storage, and then configure the adapter’s settings through the macOS Network control panel, Windows Device Manager, or Linux command line (or graphical utility).

Intelligent Operation - Efficient Performance

The Twin25G adapter attains high throughput performance with minimal host CPU load. The adapter’s smart controller has its own internal processing system with onboard memory to process TX/RX data while using few CPU resources. Once data appears in queues, TX checksums are computed on the fly as data is transmitted; RX checksums are quickly verified, and data is immediately passed directly to main memory. This independent controller action minimizes latency and avoids packet drops. The CPU is freed for other tasks.
