What's the best way to apply sunscreen?
Seems like a no brainer, but dermatologists actually recommend a few things:
-Apply before you go outside to allow sunscreen to dry and bond with skin.
-Apply on dry skin.
-Use about a 'shot glass' of sunscreen for you whole body.
-For mineral sunscreens you need less than you may be used to, dab it on in a polka dot pattern, then wipe it in- this reduces 'ghosting'.
-Reapply if you are outside for longer periods.
-For sprays, spray it on, then wipe it in for full coverage.
See, we all learned something!
