When you select the color for your client, you need to be familiar with the color palette of the brand you are using and your client's skin type. One of the easiest ways to determine your client's skin type is using the Firtzpatrick scale. When you do permanent makeup, it is essential to be highly familiar with this scale to correctly classify your client's skin type and select the most appropriate color for them. Finding Your Fitzpatrick Skin Type Type I always burns, never tans (palest, freckles). Type II (usually burns, tans minimally Type III sometimes mild burn, tans uniformly Type IV burns minimally, always tans well (moderate brown) Type V very rarely burns, tans very easily (dark brown) Type VI never burns (deeply pigmented dark brown to darkest brown) Sterilise the device before and after each use using a non alcoholic wipe or sterilising solution and gently clean the test window. Let the test window touch treated areas flatly then press the turn on/off button. Notes: - Product is not waterproof - Avoid cosmetics (particularly gels) in the area before testing - Clean the test window with an alcohol swap or cloth after each use (do not spray the window directly) - If an area is skin type 6 no light will come on - The sensor result is just for reference, you should use your own knowledge and initiative for your final decision for treatment

The client's skin tone will automatically be detected and a light will appear on the device, check the area again for confirmation.
