Guide to getting your contour on POINT

We believe contouring is an art to enhance your features! Although, we get that it's an art that takes practice, so we've made a simple guide for you to follow to ensure your contour is on POINT (just like your jaw line will be).

Step 1: Find Your Shade

Firstly, you need to know your undertone (cool, warm or neutral), then find a product that is 2-3 shades darker.

This comes hand in hand with a product, such as a concealer or illuminating product, that will highlight and enhance your contour. This is why our Cream Contour palette is the ultimate go-to contour product. It has all you need, wrapped up in one! If you want a harsher contour, we recommend our powder contour kit.

Step 2: Decide where you want to enhance

Okay, so now you've got your products, you need to decide where you want the focus to be and what you want to enhance. Once you've applied your foundation, go ahead, and apply the darker shade to the shadows of your face; your cheekbones, to create depth; jawline and hair line to define the face and a little along the sides and tip of your nose. However, it's your face, so you can decide what you enhance.

Step 3: Blend it Boo

Grab your brush and blend it babe. Not too much that you can't see those defined areas, but not too little that you can see harsh lines. If you want to add more definition, go ahead a grab a setting powder of your choice, we'd recommend our Loose Setting Powders, blend a line of powder beneath your cheek bones (slightly below the contour) and the bridge of your nose.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Your contour is finished, and you can get on with the rest of your go-to makeup routine. Just a couple of tips, don't overlook blusher on the apples of your cheeks and tip of your nose & you know your highlight needs to be poppin, so check out our range of highlighters!
