Radish Root is a natural alternative to synthetic preservatives, which utilize radishes fermented with a lactic acid bacteria called Leuconostoc kimchii. Our safe, natural formula is approved by ECO-CERT for use with certified organic cosmetics.

Leucidal Liquid is a chemical-free, non-synthetic, mild, water-soluble preservative and may not fully protect against all contaminants. For best results with water-based products, use a stronger preservative such as Leucidal Complete, Leucidal SF Max, or combine with Geogard 221, Linatural, or other broad-spectrum to properly protect your formula.

HOW IT WORKS:

Start with a 4.0% leucidal liquid concentration
Monitor the interaction of Leucidal Liquid with other ingredients for compatibility.
Incorporate into formulations at a ph between 3 and 8, during the cooling phase at temperatures lower than 70°c
Complete recommended stability and challenge testing to ensure adequate preservation

Leucidal Liquid has been used for almost a decade and is proven to be a highly compatible ingredient for formulating, and is on the whole foods premium list of accepted preservatives.

Store your Leucidal Liquid at room temperature. Cold temps will cause Liquid to crystalize. Simply place it in a warm place, and your product will return to its proper consistency.

Simply add 36 drops of Leucidal Liquid to a 1-ounce base, custom formula, or existing product for a 4% concentration.

For best results, sanitize all utensils and work area before mixing and using good quality ingredients, or this product may not work properly.

Store your Leucidal Liquid at room temperature. Cold temps will cause liquid to crystalize, clump, or be solid. Simply place it in a warm water bath, and your product will return to its proper consistency. Or microwave in 15-30 second intervals until it's a liquid.
