Prep All Your Items

a. Get familiar with all the pieces of your pattern and read the instructions.

b. Cut out your pattern.

c. Wash and press your fabric (If applicable).

Prepare Your Pattern

a. Choose your size using the pattern measurements.

b. Lay your fabric on a clean flat surface.

c. Check the grainlines.

d. Secure pattern to the fabric.

Cut And Mark Your Fabric

a. Cut the fabric using a good pair of fabric shears or a rotary cutter.

b. Transfer all the markings from the pattern to the fabric.

c. Keep pattern and fabric together until you are ready to use them.
