This ingot mold has a large cavity of 20–25 oz. (1 kg) for gold, which can be used for melting precious metals. You can also use it for melting silver, brass, aluminum, copper, etc. A releasing agent is a chemical used to prevent other materials from bonding to surfaces. This ingot mold requires a releasing agent to easily release the ingot from the mold. It forms a layer between your mold and the casting agent. This prevents the cast from sticking to your mold. It has tapered sides, which makes an ingot easily moldable.
