1: Get started

Plug the adapter cord into the device socket and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet. Before your first treatment you should test each treatment area separately.

Before treating the area the skin youd be dry, clean and shaved.

2: Control the device

Press the control button to turn on the device. Then choose the right energy level, you can do this again when you start treating a new treatment area.

When the device is in full contact with the skin, the "ready light" will start blinking slowly.

The device will determine the colour of your skin automatically.

3: Gliding or pulsing

Decide if you wish to treat the area by Gliding or Pulsing:

Pulsing is the best technique for working at higher energy levels.

Gliding is the best technique for working at lower energy levels.

4: After Treatment

Turn the device off by giving the control button an extended press. Remember the last energy level setting you used, because it will not be restored when you turn the device on again. Remove the adapter from the electrical outlet. Do not forget to clean the device after use.

Touch&Glide technology for faster hair removal The Silk'n Jewel LUXX takes a completely new approach compared to other HPL hair removal devices available on the market today. The device has only a single button to switch the device on or off or to set a different power level. So the times you have to press a button to trigger a light pulse are over, which speeds up and simplifies hair removal sessions considerably. The tip of the device simply touches the skin and the Jewel automatically emits a light pulse. You can concentrate on a small area by moving the device from one spot directly to the next. You can also slide the device over a larger area to be ready in a few minutes.	Gentle and careful treatment You can choose between two treatment methods (pulsation and gliding), different power levels (from 1 to 5) and speeds. The power levels determine the frequency of the HPL flashes. The higher the power level, the more effective the treatment. Level 1 is also suitable if you have only recently sunbathed. If the device is set to level 5, it emits a light pulse every 3.5 seconds. This is the highest power level that offers the most effective results.
