Indications for Use

silicone foam dressing is indicated for pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, foot diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, traumatic wounds e.g. can be used in hospitals, senior care homes, hospices, and other medical facilities.

Instructions for Use

Cleanse the wound in accordance with normal procedures. Ensure surrounding skin is clean, dry and free from excess hair.
Select the appropriate dressing size. Ensure the absorbent pad covers the entire wound or area to be protected.
Remove the release films
Apply the adherent side to the wound, press from the center outward gently. Do not stretch it during application.

Cautions and Tips

The central absorbent hydrocellular pad size 2.5'' x 2.5'' should be bigger than the wound size.
Hold the dressing by hand gently to active the adhesiveness before moving.
Prevent cloths or equipment from rubbing on the ends of the patch to longer using.
The dressing is waterproof but not shower proof, which means that the liquid will not cross from one side of dressing to the other side but liquid canleak through the edge under the adhesive layer and loosen the adhesion.
