Q: What is the difference between Siccasan and Siccaforte
A: Siccaforte eye gel contains carbomer and is best used for lubricating the eye. Siccasan eye gel contains dexpanthenol for extremely dry and irritated eyes that require additional healing and hydration.
Q: Why is use limited to 6 weeks for Siccaforte and Siccasan
A: Siccasan and Siccaforte can be used for as long as you like! A single tube, however, should not be used for more than 6 weeks after its initial opening. This is to ensure that the gel stays completely free of external contaminants like bacteria. After 6 weeks, we recommend opening a fresh tube.
Q: What is the difference between the day and night formulas
A: Both Siccaforte and Siccasan can be used either during the day or at night. However, Siccaforte with carbomer is lighter and easier to use throughout the day due to its thickness. Using Siccaforte allows your vision to remain blurry for a very short period of time. Siccasan with dexpanthenol is a thicker gel used for a more intense treatment, ideal for night time healing.
Q: Where is it manufactured
A: Siccaforte is manufactured in Europe.
