Commonly used by movie and theatre productions as it is ideal for prop and costume distressing. Dance shoes can also be recoloured on demand or just restored to look like new.

Brillo Colour Dye Sprays can renew or change the colour of leather, vinyl and plastic, quickly and effortlessly. Simply clean prepare your item to be dyed by cleaning and drying, protect non-dye areas with sticky tape and spray. Simples.

Algeos Brillo sprays are true dyes, not a paint. It seeps into the material and physically bonds with it, changing or renewing the colour and it will not rub off. Once applied the dye is waterproof, bump and scratch resistant, as well a fully refurbished.

Increased colour range and pigment for fuller, smooth coverage and natural shine. Also helps to repel water, soil and stains. For use on leather, vinyl and plastic. Toluene-free formula.

How to use

Usually a simple 2 step process is required; fully clean and remove any grease from the item, then apply several very fine coats of spray to fully colour the area. Glossy surfaces should be dulled to ensure proper adhesion of dye. Before you begin, protect your hands and cover surrounding work area. Tape any part of the leather you do not wish to dye for protection. Use in a well ventilated area, away from heat and flames.Best results are achieved when using at a room temperature of over 70F (21C). Do not apply at temperatures below 70F (21C).

Don't forget, whenever using a new product, or a product you're familiar with on a new surface, you should spot test first in an inconspicuous area, and ensure you are fully satisfied with the finish prior to undergoing the entire project. Refer to colour chart for accurate matching.

Directions

• Use in a well ventilated area, away from heat & flame. Do not use while smoking.
• Take a clean cloth, wet with Meltonian Nu-Life Color Preparer and remove all wax, dirt and grease.
• Shake can well before using. Best results are obtained if can is used at room temperature of over 70F.
• Do not apply at temperature below 70F.
• Hold can 10-12" away from article to be sprayed. Spray one light coat, allow to dry.
• Then spray a second coat and allow to dry.
• Clean spray nozzle after spraying by turning can upside down and pressing spray nozzle until color spray stops.
• Keep children and pets out of area while using Color Spray.
